Integrated Controller and Space-Saving Design
The MS-NP80C combines the control board and printer mechanism in one compact unit, simplifying installation and reducing the space required for embedded printing. Its integrated design helps equipment manufacturers streamline internal layouts and reduce integration complexity. The dedicated plastic paper outlet provides a convenient paper-output structure, while automatic paper feeding supports efficient operation in self-service terminals and other automated equipment.
High-Speed 80mm Thermal Printing
Equipped with a 640-dot line thermal printhead, the MS-NP80C delivers print speeds of up to 250 mm/s with a maximum print width of 80mm. It supports 80mm thermal paper, with 60mm paper available as an option, and accommodates paper thicknesses from 60 to 150 μm. Formatting options such as bold, italic, underline, and reverse printing help produce clear, readable receipts, tickets, and vouchers. The recommended printhead service life is up to 100 km of printing.
Automatic Paper Feeding and Full Cutting
Designed for frequent printing in unattended environments, the MS-NP80C features automatic paper feeding and a full-cut cutter rated for up to 1 million cuts. Its horizontal 180-degree automatic paper-loading design helps simplify paper replacement. Paper-out, paper-near-end, black-mark, paper-jam, and cutter-related paper detection functions support reliable paper handling and help reduce operational interruptions in self-service applications.
Flexible Interfaces and System Integration
The MS-NP80C supports USB and RS232 communication interfaces, enabling integration with a range of host systems and embedded equipment. It operates at 24V ± 5%, with an average current of 2A at 30.5% effective printing dots and a peak current of 6.5A. Configurable functions, including paper retracting, paper arch height, and paper-output waiting time, provide additional flexibility for equipment manufacturers adapting the printer to different mechanical structures and paper-output requirements.
Applications and OEM/ODM Customization
The Masung MS-NP80C is suitable for self-service kiosks, ticketing and check-in terminals, vending machines, retail POS systems, lottery and gaming terminals, parking payment systems, and toll booth equipment.
For OEM and ODM projects, Masung works directly with equipment manufacturers to customize printer integration, installation structures, paper-feed orientation, interface configurations, software commands, and paper-output settings. Additional mechanical or functional adjustments can be discussed to help meet specific equipment requirements and support the development of customized self-service printing solutions.
